About Us
The Collingwood Conservators’ Collective is a group of discrete but cross-pollinated conservation businesses, each with their own specialisation in the conservation of particular material types. Working within the collective model, each of our conservators is experienced in working together as a team to achieve large-scale projects efficiently and effectively. Our approach to projects large and small is always value-centred, incorporating the diverse needs of clients and the collections they care for. We have demonstrated our capability to work collaboratively on high-profile conservation projects for peak institutions in Melbourne.
Alongside these collaborative efforts, all members of our team have worked on large-scale projects and collections individually, bringing a wealth of experiences within Australia and overseas to each new project. We have experience in project management and have developed conservation management plans for collections and individual assets, as well as carrying out and advising on conservation treatments. Our goal is to provide professional and accessible conservation services to our clients, understanding and respecting the material and intangible elements of heritage sites and artworks.
